Main Hall

The Main Hall in the Lodge is the primary meeting space.

It is about 30’ x 20’, and approximately 600 square feet. Because of the layout, the shape is somewhat irregular, and there are two supporting posts under the corners of the balcony. The Main Hall can seat 20 in a circle, or 40 theater style.

The Pavilion is a two minute walk from the Lodge. It is on the site of the old homestead garden.

  • Air conditioning and heat is provided with a quiet, efficient heat pump.
  • A small loft can serve as office space/refuge for a teacher or workshop leader.
  • French doors open onto the deck overlooking pond and garden areas; French doors in the back open into a shaded garden area.
  • Chemical toilet up the hill takes care of bathroom needs, or the Lodge is a short walk away.
  • There is an extra charge for using the Pavilion.

Bedrooms

Up to 26 people can sleep here. (A few more with special arrangements; inquire for more details.) 17 can sleep in the Lodge, and we don’t generally make other spaces available unless the Lodge is full. Download the bedroom floor plan here.

Upstairs in the Lodge:
  • Five double bedrooms, each with two single beds and a ceiling fan.
  • One loft upstairs, which is accessible with steep stairs and is transparent to sound from Main Hall. Not for everyone, but some people’s absolute favorite spot!
  • Two shared bathrooms with showers.
Downstairs in the Lodge:
  • Two double bedrooms, each with two single beds.
  • Two single bedrooms with single beds.
  • One bathroom with a shower. You can download a floor plan of the Lodge, with all beds identified, here. If the Lodge is full, more beds are available in our farmhouse up the hill, accessed by a (steep!) trail that’s lighted at night, or by a longer but gentle walk up the driveway. It’s about 400 feet from the Lodge.
Your lodge was wonderful and I'm quite certain that we'll be back. It is a perfect location for a retreat/teambuilding activity for the corporate senior management team. - Janie Lowe; HR Manager, Whitley Products The Studio apartment offers:
  • Five beds: one double and four twin beds.
  • Kitchenette, bathroom with shower.
  • Porch overlooking the valley. The Roadhouse features:
  • Four Pullman-style single beds in little cozy booths
  • Spacious spa-like bathroom with a tiled shower enclosure
  • Opens to the Studio, but also has separate entrance.

Parking

There is ample parking for most events, but larger weddings sometimes require parking shenanigans and special assistance. The main lot accommodates about 35 cars, and another 20 can be parked along the driveway in and a grassy area at the top. In a pinch, we have parked cars at the church at the end of our driveway.
