Bend of Ivy Lodge has a range of accommodations designed for comfortable sleep and to provide beautiful private spaces for rest and reflection in the midst of community-focused events. For larger groups, we can sleep 26 people: 17 in the Lodge itself, and 9 in the Studio and Roadhouse spaces in the farmhouse up the hill.

Each bedroom in the Lodge has a cultural theme with original art to reflect our global connection and to remind us of the beauty of the many different expressions of art and culture around the world. The air-conditioned upstairs has five double bedrooms and a loft, sleeping eleven with two shared bathrooms.

Each space in the Lodge basement level has large windows and stays cool, even on hot summer days. Two double bedrooms with twin beds, two singles, and a bathroom open into a spacious common room which can also be used as a meeting room and hangout area. Farm tools hanging on the walls evoke the history of the building, and the farm animals and even fox that once lived here. Adjoining this common room is a private covered porch looking out onto a rock garden.

In the basement of the original farmhouse, about three hundred feet up the hill, there are two additional spaces. The Studio apartment sleeps five in a double and four twin beds. A kitchenette, bathroom, and porch overlooking the valley complete the Studio. The Roadhouse has four Pullman-style single beds in little booths, with a spacious spa-like bathroom with a tiled shower enclosure.

The Silsbees have created an oasis of learning in this beautiful facility. The natural setting encourages both relaxation and concentration, and the accommodations are comfortable while being a world away from the airless, joyless atmosphere of most conference centers and hotels.
