Additional accommodations are available in the completely renovated basement of the farmhouse, about 300 feet up the hill from the Lodge. These spaces are accessible by a lighted foot trail that goes up the hill above the Lodge, or by the driveway, which is longer but less steep.

The Studio apartment sleeps five in a double and four twin beds. A kitchenette, bathroom, and porch with spectacular East views (think sunrise! And, moonrise!) overlook the Lodge and pond areas. A lovely enameled cast iron stove puts out warmth and soft light.

The Roadhouse, in the back, is a dorm-style area with four Pullman-style single beds in individual booths. A spacious spa-like bathroom and tiled shower enclosure finish this space.

Generally, the Studio and Roadhouse spaces are only made available as extra housing when the Lodge is completely full, although we sometimes make them available for individual retreats.
