Bend of Ivy | Fall Plans and Needs | November 2024

Dear Friends,

What are your fall needs and plans? Perhaps it is to be still. Or perhaps to retreat, transition, create, heal or connect. Possibly it's all of those. If so, you're not alone. Those speak to me.

Whatever you choose, as best possible take care of yourself. Be self-compassionate, compassionate and wise with your energy, harvesting and seeding.

Hope you enjoy your upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, and have some restorative time. Winter is around the corner, though our warm days this week seem more spring like!

As a holiday and healing gift to our community, Bend of Ivy is hosting a special Community Sound Healing Meditation on Sunday, November 24 from 3:30 - 5pm. It's free, or donation optional.  All donations are going to Madison County Animal Shelter and BeLoved Asheville. Check out our newsletter below for more info.

Come, soak in vibrational meditations and relax. To calm and open before the meditation, some somatic experiencing practices will be share. Treat your body, spirit, heart and mind with a soothing healing experiential.

Bend of Ivy Lodge can be a private nature sanctuary for you and your retreat work this winter and in 2025.

Check out our Seasonal Specials available now for new bookings through February 28. Our local WNC-impacted clients receive an extra special discount on lodging fees!

With gratitude, and caring wishes,

Susan 🌱

PS... My coaching and Somatic Experiencing (SE) services support trauma healing. I know many are in transition, experiencing a lot right now. If you need support for a free or sliding scale session, please email me susan@bendofivylodge.com

Supporting Our Community’s Renewal

As we move through a time of healing and renewal, our Asheville and WNC communities are deeply grateful for the support of those near and far. These beautiful areas—and the people who call them home—are in a process of rebuilding and re-birthing. If you’d like to learn more about how you can help, we’ve created a resource list of local businesses and relief organizations dedicated to restoration efforts.
